Bill Hewitt, former Consultant with RFMC, Bill has over 34 years experience in exploration, development and management, working with several companies, both major (BHP and MIM), and middle ranked (Ashton Mining and the Gutnick Group).  His experience includes all phases of a mining project, from target generation, through grass-roots exploration, discovery, drill-out and ore reserves, feasibility, construction, and into operations.  He holds a BSc (majoring in Physics and geophysics) from the University of  Melbourne.  He is a member of AIG and Honorary Member of the Indonesian Mining Association.  Bill has been involved in a wide variety of commodities, mainly diamonds, porphyry copper, gold and tin, and to a lesser extent mineral sands, nickel sulphides, base metals, phosphate, rare earths, uranium and iron ore. Apart from Australia, he has worked in China, India, Philippines, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and Malaysia, and has some language capability in those countries, particularly Indonesia (fluent) and China (Mandarin).  Bill has relocated to Indonesia.
