Mine Planning & Mine Design

This standard describes the requirements to ensure that mine designs are consistent with the minimum corporate requirements and maintain a high level of consistency, as appropriate, for similar situations.  The intent of this standard is to achieve statutory compliance and industry best practice incorporating safety, environmental and cost effectiveness in the mine design at all mines.  This standard is intended to assist the mine to achieve the production of effective mine designs that communicate that to all stakeholders.  This standard designates who is responsible for achieving these requirements.
