Company Philosophy

Richard Flanagan Mining Consultancy Pty Ltd (RFMC) is a proprietary company, registered in Western Australia and was formed in 1994 by Richard Flanagan.  The registered office is located in Perth with consultants in a number of Australian States.  Richard is a respected and experienced mining engineer who is a long standing member of The Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM) and the Mineral Industry Consultants Association (MICA).

RFMC is able to provide experienced professionals to facilitate Project Development

RFMC aims to provide quality experienced consultants (including consultants from our networking peers who may also work independently ) to accommodate the needs of the client in each specific case.

RFMC, as a company, has proudly addopted the code of ethics of The AusIMM and MICA as the company code of ethics and all consultants will adhere to that code. 

All work performed by RFMC, and its consultants, is covered by the appropriate Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, Workers Compensation and Industrial Diseases Insurance policies.

RFMC undertakes assignments and placements with a client on terms and conditions discussed with the client.  Terms of engagement and consultants rates may be hourly, daily, monthly or as negotiated with the client.  Rates are consistent with the range identified as generally charged within the industry in the relevant salary and contract remuneration survey conducted by The AusIMM.

The conditions of contract and consultants rates are in accordance with The Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM) Code for Consultants as amended from time to time by AusIMM.
